BIOGRAPHY
Throughout his bright career, Taylor has worked as a supporting figure for artists like Gloria Estefan, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Kirk Whalum, Candy Dulfer, Delfeayo Marsalis, and others. He has worked with industry producers to develop music for Netflix, HGTV, BET, and other television programs, and was signed to Warner Chappell Music as a recording artist at the age of 19.
Emerging as a contemporary jazz artist, he traveled the world with Dave Koz & Summer Horns, which featured residencies at the Blue-Note Tokyo, Blue-Note Hawaii, then taking the stage by storm at other iconic venues such as SeaBreeze Jazz Festival and the Hollywood Bowl. Fernando Mondesert of JazzTimes says “Evan Taylor, that’s the name to watch for in these upcoming years.” After two global tours, Evan is back stateside debuting his hit album “Exactly This,” at premiere venues, while simultaneously teaching part-time and remote at Indiana University as an Assistant Instructor for the Legendary IU Soul Revue.
